ReasonThere is currently no specific language in either the Nodal Protocols or Nodal Operating Guides related to the submission of Resource asset registered data and information. Since this type of information is primarily used for steady-state, dynamics, and system protection studies, it is deemed appropriate to be part of the Planning Guide.

Summary

This Planning Guide Revision Request (PGRR) adds new Section 6.8, Resource Registration Procedures, to the Planning Guide. Specifically, this PGRR establishes the basic processes to be used by Resource Entities to supply Resource information to ERCOT through the Resource registration process.
