Summary

This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) clarifies which transmission improvement projects associated with the interconnection of new Generation Resources should be classified as “neutral” projects, including new substations. This NPRR also provides clarity in regards to which Generation Resource interconnection Transmission Facilities are considered when determining if ERCOT should perform an economic analysis pursuant to paragraph (2) of Section 3.11.6.
