NPRR225 Standard Cost Option in Verifiable Costs
ReasonElection of standard O&M costs is intended to relieve the burden of gathering complex O&M cost data that may not be in a retrievable format or has legal complications that prevent Generation Resources from being able to submit verifiable costs in accordance with Section 5.6.1 and in compliance with the Verifiable Cost Manual.

Summary
This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) provides the option for the election of standard Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs as a component of Startup Costs and minimum energy costs in place of filing verifiable costs through January 1, 2012. Additional non-substantive administrative revisions, such as correcting acronym and defined term usage, are shown with the author "ERCOT Market Rules."
