ReasonTotal Transfer Capability, as defined by NERC, does not apply to the ERCOT Region since there is only one transmission system. Total Transmission Capacity is the comparable ERCOT terminology, but the two acronyms are used interchangeably throughout the ERCOT Nodal Operating Guides. This may cause ERCOT to appear to be out of compliance with NERC Reliability Standards, when compliance has actually been achieved, or the requirement is not applicable to ERCOT.
